This reminds me of my wife and I's stay at a 3 year old Comfort Inn in Chattanooga TN. We stayed in a non smoking wedding suite, complete with stand alone Jacuzzi tub by the bed, although we originally were slated for the same type smoking suite next door to this one that we stayed in for 2 nights. We were up there picking out carpet from one of the many outlets nearby and doing our usual having a good time at the same time. When we arrived, we were given the two magnetic cards to the room which worked just fine going into the room. However, it wasn't until we left for dinner and came back that we found that both of our cards had been demagnitized. So, we stopped at the desk, got the cards remagged and went to our room. The feel of the room wasn't all that particularly dark, but the noises we both heard separately both mornings, didn't register until the second morning when it was time to check out. During that night, my wife had heard the coins and jewelry moving on her night stand by the side of the bed, and figured it was me looking for something. She was about to say something when she turned and saw me asleep next to her. Also, there were distinct crisp noises of silverware on ceramic places coming from our bathroom, which I simply attributed to room service the previous day. It wasn't until the second morning, that both she and I are laying awake around 5 in the morning, again listening to these sounds when I realized that the hotel had no room service, nor even a restaurant for that matter. All they had in the entire place was styrofoam and plastic in regards to eating utensils. It was at that point that I said to my wife, "baby, I hate to say this, but I think this place is haunted." She breathed a sigh of relief and said, "I'm glad you said that, because I was wondering if I was losing it". Thankfully we left soon after that, but stopped long enough to ask the hotel clerk what had stood where the building now stands before it was built. Apparently it had been a projects location, and one of the local ghosts attached to the new building anyway. What a thing to be haunted, a new wedding suite.

Isn't that the hotel where a bride died on her wedding night by being pushed down the elevator shaft by her new husband? I think I saw one of the ghost hunting teams do that hotel.
