OMG, this is the very same black bird flock that flew over my head on my way North on 1/7/11. (just kidding, but I did have a flock of huge Ravens fly over my car that numbered close to the 300 reported in this story. Those were the "Common Ravens", birds that don't normally fly in such huge flocks... http://www.outdooralabama.com/watchable-wi...rds/cjls/cr.cfm ) And now 1/12/2011 (11 22 11), 5 days later, just south of Athens, near mile marker 347 (77, 311, 14 or 5,5,5), they're DEAD!!!!! ![]() ......and they're laying along the side of I-65, which is code for 911. You know, I = 9 and 6 + 5 = 11 Why, it seems the "Twin Towers" have whacked the "300" (black birds) right out of the air south of "Athens". ![]() http://www.whnt.com/news/whnt-hundreds-of-...0,5671780.story |

wow, wtf, bro. that's a big flock of birds to drop like that. geee.... the amount of these reports of the fish/birds dying are really something. The msm reports of 'why' its happening are hilarious...fireworks, cold...or 'it's a normal happening'. the latest fish deaths in chgo said something about 'the cold' being the cause. I mean, come on... the cold? chicago/lake michigan in the winter? lol. I watched a tv news show the other day.. with physicist macchio kaku (yeah, i know i likely clobbered his name spelling...lol..cant look up his name/internet compromised) Anyway, he said all these wildlife deaths are a normal happening. He said basically that with the internet and worldwide reporting now, that we just hear about it more. Now, what he says is true...we do hear about these stories easier than ever these days...but come on.. it doesnt take much to put a few pieces together to come up with some reasonings or thoughts on this - not to mention concern. And now this is right in your backyard, bro, so to speak. that's a lot of birds... I havent seen any wildlife disturbances here....yet. |

The Internet has been around for over a decade now, and I've been on the net since just about day one, and I've NEVER seen ANY reports of this nature, much LESS reports from around the world. So, as usual, the "analysis" of the "experts" is the usual BS that we've all come to expect from TPTW.

Not sure if you saw it today or not...but glp had a pinned thread with a timeline of the fish/bird die-offs... The timeline began 12-13 and ran through the 11th I think. It was pretty interesting.. Maybe do a search on it if you didnt catch it. I wasnt able to click the op's link, but the info was in the thread. |

Hmm. From what was said there, the grackle sort of reminds me of thecrow. You noticed any other anomalies bro? I watched 7crows cleaning up after some ice fishermen left the ice holes they drilled out. Seemed pretty normal to me. Though I have noticed more crows around lately. The bluebird showed up today too...calling out. one thing I have noticed lately is a weird thing with sound..like an exaggeration and displacement of sounds. Seems more than heightened senses...

Unrelated to this particular topic is our light situation here at the house. All of our touch on/off lamps are constantly turning on, brighter and brighter and then off, repeat. As well, our flood lights on our garage which have no electronic control whatsoever turned themselves back on just after I had turned them off. I checked the mechanical switch situation and there was no evidence of any falling objects etc, and there was no one around to flip the switch other than whatever it is that's monkeying with all the other lights. I've changed nothing at all about these lights over the years, and have observed them in all kinds of weather situations, and never have they acted like this. As well, nothing else here is showing any signs of power fluctuations that sometimes can flip these lights on and off. ......so............
