We've been having a lot of animal synchs this week! So here is my tribute to the animals. ![]() Aztec Cavalry and I were present in chat earlier, when I began describing this cloud I could see outside my window; it reminded me of a duck in it's various forms. At first, the small duck looked like a cooked one, or one that was ready for roasting to me, though after a while it appeared to be stretching it's neck skywards. Then it developed a head, which earlier, had looked to have been lopped off. It was hardly moving due to it being a calm day here, then after 20 minutes or so of the 'duck' being visible, almost stationary outside my window, another larger cloud appeared in the window pane. It was also like a duck. So, the second cloud I'll call the big duck. By the time I took these pictures, the big duck was almost bumping into another cloud ahead of the way it was travelling. I went up into the attic to take a couple of snapshots, here is the first: ![]() The second, which also includes a Seagull (LbL!) [never saw that in the shot when I took it]: ![]() The third is from inside my room and was meant to show the apparent difference in scale when viewing the clouds from where I was sitting in the house. Though is didn't turn out too well, it's still possible to make out the clouds[ small duck is just below the window handles, big duck is above]:

Thanks, LbL! Yes, i didn't realize the significance of Seagulls until you said the other day, that they represent the link between Earth and Sky. I'll be a bit more respectful to Seagulls- which are widely seen as pests- from now on. I don't see them as pests as much, but worry that when Seagulls come inland, they take a share of food that indigenous land birds can't afford to lose; but it's "que sera" from now on. |
