I got an email from a friend saying she there was a big power outage in the San Fernando Valley in LA. Weather related??

there was one in London a few days ago. It started at around 7pm, in an area with many theatres and restaurants - most of which had to close and loose an evening's money. Lots of unhappy people - especially in this unseasonably warm weather. Simon |
