I've been hearing a lot of discussion about Iodine lately. I've been checking out some of the information - it's pretty darn interesting.

Here's a few links, if you want to check out some of the info...

Tincture of iodine works exceptionally well on warts that are in areas that duct tape just wont do. :D

It takes several months but is a total cure.

About a year or so before Fukushima an "Animal Communicator" friend of mine kept giving me bags of Japanese seaweed, telling me how important it was to keep my Iodine levels up. Then she stopped buying Japanese seaweed after Fukushima.

Seaweed does soak up radioactive iodine, and I believe it has a half-life of about three months. The radioactive element that mimics calcium last much longer (years), and accumulates in the heart muscle.

I still use seaweed from the antarctic, but I won't touch anything from Japan.

sounds like a good precaution about seaweeds, toma.

i once supplemented with kelp, but didnt notice any type of benefit at the time. I also have some lugols that i have never taken...yet.

That was a great collection of data on iodine, dennis... I remember the days that iodine was what was used on all scratches and bumps at home. I also recall using baby oil and iodine for a tanning lotion.. :D

I'm wondering if we might be seeing another nuclear event where upping the levels of iodine is a preventative measure, like what happened with my friend and Fukushima.

I did use some seaweed a while ago, because I had the feeling I needed to up my iodine levels.

lotta ones there - the numbers are talking... Not sure what is gonna go on, but there sure is a lot of chest beating going on concerning nuclear missles lately and who has the biggest missle.

might be a good idea to have the iodine on hand... I am on indian time as to whether or when i am going to take it.
