I think the blog is interesting but i dont think those sea serpents have something to do with digimon. maybe these serpents are real and maybe they are living on the bottom of an ocean so we couldnt see them underwater. To the attacks on boats: it was easy for a fisherman to lie 500 years ago when the people believed in everything but maybe the serpents only cood attack ships out of wood and not ships out of metal. and i think most of the pictures of dead serpents are fake. so i dont know what to believe of that blog. and the third picture counted from the bottom is a pic from that video here...is very poor from the creator of that blog... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91ggc3BNdDw  |

Yeah I think that it was very interesting, and had nothing to do digimon. Digimon were based off of earth creatures sea serpents included. |

I agree with you both. But the point of this forum and yes there is a point. Is imagine you never watched or heard of digimon and you see seadramon come out of a lake, you're not going to say "I just saw a digimon " You'' say "I just saw a seaserpant" or " I just saw Nessy" |

yeah youre right and with your theory it could be that there were digimon 500 hundred years ago. but i think under the category "mysterious creatures" is the chance to find a digimon much better. for example the hellhound. And i think if there woulb be more active people in the forum we would get much more information...

it's so long I don't want to read it...lol. I agree with everyone of you. it probably doesn't have anything to do with digimon... but if you did see a Seadramon you're not going to think that was what it was right away as Z said. and the person who sees the sea creatures probably have no clue what digimon are so they say it's the lochness monster or whatever.

What I'm saying is. We should all check any and all "Recent" monster sightings because someone could get them confused with a digimon. I posted this just as an example |

I doubt any monster sightings before the 1980's has anything to do with digimon. And if you wanted to be more specific if you think digimon were spawned by the digimon virtual pet and then the show, then real digimon went start poping up until after 1997 |

:/ i still kind of think digimon were created by humans rather than created by nature. ^^" thats just my opinion however. anythings possible. but the idea that digimon were around thousands/millions of years ago and what we believe they are made from data sort of contradict one another dont they? data wasnt around thousands of years ago. it was invented. (right?) just something to ponder. |

there u go. X3 if computer/electronic data was created by man and we technically didnt get said technology until the last hundred years or so, my theory only concludes that it might not be possible that digimon were around hundreds or thousands of years ago so technically no one really has any way of mistaking a sea monster for a digimon. in technical terms its just not possible. (i say technicall alot i know. feel free to prove me wrong, argue my statement. i am open for anything one might care to add. (FTR im not mad or anything im actually quite happy right now and happy to have something to descuss finally :D) |

if u think about it Humans are the newest life form on this planet. we have only been around though thousands of years where as dinosours died out MILLIONS of years ago. and not only that but millions of years before humans were around. so unless people know of the creatures deep within the last few rainforests of this world that we havent seen or know whats inside the bremuda triangle i doubt there are still dinosours from the jerasic periods (pr anything else in that time zone) still lurking around the planet. (exclude descendants of dinos because they arent dinos anymore. they are different. ^^") |

Yes data was invented, but I would doubt that we are the first race to invent it. This is not likely, but just an idea what if we weren't the only race to influence digimon is the digital world. |

oh i doubt we are the only ones to do such as well. but the fact that we have never seen any outside forces (like other people or aliens or anything like that) only makes me think that no one out there has reached a level high enough to travel through the galaxy's without dying thousands of years before they show up on our planet lolz so i tink the idea of only earth influencing digimon might be a good one. |
