Taito just announced a new arcade to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of Densha de GO!. Yamanote line (as usual lately) but with really nice 3D graphics this time. http://www.4gamer.net/games/351/G035198/20160808009/ http://denshadego.net/ I hope we get a port for PS4 sometime in the future... looks really nice. |

I'd love to see this ported too. Taito's done a couple of PS4/PC (Steam) ports as of recent (Dariusburst) and it would be great on a triple monitor setup... Plus if it did get a Steam version it'd be the first time a Densha De Go game got released here. Wishful thinking but I can dream right? Edited by Zeether, Aug 8 2016, 04:53 PM.

Well, it's running on Unreal Engine 4 so a home console/PC port is really easy. Some more photos of the cabin and info: http://game.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/news/1014431.html |

Oh, in that case a port's pretty likely. Only one line is a shame but I guess it's all they can afford...ah well, all the better to help master the route! |

On the subject from Kotaku. http://kotaku.com/japan-still-makes-the-best-train-games-1785015249? On Kotaku they mention updates to the already released titles. And that I would consider a huge news, since a lot of older games are not working properly on the new PCs. Edited by MikeGold, Aug 9 2016, 11:11 AM.

Regarding updates, as I understand, they refer to the fact that on release, the only line available will be the Yamanote-sen, but over online upgrades, other lines will be added to the cabinet in the future. |

Oh, and I thought that we'll get the updates for the current;y available games :(. I would play that cabinet game too on my PC if it'll ever be emulated ;]. |

Thanks for all the new pictures. I would really like to see this for the Keikyu main line. I got both "Railfan" games before I got a PS3, if this comes out on PS4, then I'll get one!

That's impressive if they're considering other companies. Hankyu Railway please...(would kill to drive that line with that kind of setup on the rare chance I get to go to Japan or it gets a port) |
