Hi guys, I thought I could open a topic where everybody can post their latest achievements, times , problems and positiv/negativ opinions of DDG and itīs tracks. Just a quick update of what route you drove and stuff like that for example...

Because I opend the topic I will start right away:
After downloading DDG 1 from a "golden" blog, I started to drive with the keyboard because I have to wait to get a controller due to some financial problems in europe ;)
Of course I started with the beginner track/lane (sorry I really dont know the name) and started to become a little better. Yesterday evening I achieved my first "no-continue" run on the long version of beginners route and I was a bit proud of myself ;) It was truely a tough battle because I got a really good start with 2 stars at the first 2 stops but managed to overpace, ram a truck and horn at a red maintenance train (LOL) which left me with a final score of 9 seconds. Despite having 40 secs. after the first 2 stops it was a very difficult ride.
Thats it for now...next days I have to check out the next route :)

after changing the game (DDG 1 runs only on my windows 7 notebook and not on my XP PC :( ) I tried Kisha de Go. After a bit of practise I managed to get a silver star on the beginners route. But on the harder ones....letīs just say it kicks my ass :P

I tried out DDG Professional because I wanted to drive with actual modern trains on my PC. Wow, this game seems huge with all the lines, cities etc.
But there is one problem I have and I hope someone can help me out. Yesterday I was doing pretty good on the first line/track in the game. But I ran into a huge problem when the game changes the difficulty level if you are doing a good job. There is one signal which I donīt understand. It has a yellow light on top,and a green one at the bottom.I need to be really fast to get to the next station in time but the game says 70km/h in yellow, combined with the sign described earlier. If I break to 70km/h I donīt make it in time - I loose. When I keep my pace I will be stopped via ATS and loose. It is a bit difficult to describe but perhaps someone can help ^^

I had the same situation in Densha de Go! 3. To be honest I never managed to pass that route. I tried it for like 4 hours and gave up. You can start fast, but even if you manage to lose speed, due to this sign you cannot get to the next station on time. Maybe someone else know how to get through that, but according to rules, you have to slow down which renders you late.
