Just send a mail to the publisher asking about the language... I don't expect a reply but I'll let you know if they do

and finally, after several delays, we finally got a release date, not only for the German version but also for the UK (and, confirmed to be in English xD) version. http://www.amazon.co.uk/ASCARON-Entertainment-UK-Ltd-Train/dp/B006NU6MT4 March 2 is the date. the price is, actually, really god compared with the japanese version. theres only left to see if they made changes to the trains... I hope they mantained the japanese versions

Great news! Afterbirth - I haven't updated my Blog in ages but there is now a video on there which should help you with translating the menus. Looks like they have, as we thought, only got 50 of the 200 trains for the Euro version. There will also be no add-on packs with extra buildings. Only train I can confirm, from the video, is the AR3 which is the fictional Artdink train. |

Take a look at this screenie from the video you posted. ![]() All of those trains are the default Artdink vehicles. Hmmm. I wonder if this video was based upon preview code of the game or something..? When they say "50 vehicles" I wonder if they actually mean '14 trains and 36 buses and trucks! LOL' Anyone recall a similar thing happened when they released A8 in the West. The publisher was unable to negotiate inclusion of the original authentic Japanese trains and so had to release the game with a drastically reduced number of fictional ones. Same with AHX on the Xbox360. I hear that they are also making scenarios which will, presumably, appeal to us Western gamers more. Thus, there is to be a 'Save Greece from bankruptcy' scenario - using all the Japanese buildings from the game. Kinda odd and a bit annoying. They should just market the game as the Japanese product that it is. Personally I'm very happy with my Japanese version of A9. |

It seems that the german release has been pushed two weeks and will be out on 15/march. No news about a pushback of the UK release. |
