It just makes me wonder... this forum seems to be dead... Even if I try to start some discussions, noone ever replies. Sometimes I think that noone (even admin) visits this place. If you're still alive, just give me a shout :). |

Like many others, I didn't even know it existed anymore since the domain was snatched. I knew it was on some boardhost, but couldn't find it anymore. I found the URL again by chance, while checking the referrers to my own domain... A big You Rock to MikeGold for the new referring domain!

The only problem is that Butch a.k.a. Densha is not showing up in here anymore. One of my friends is waiting for account activation for over a month now. He's not replying to any emails either. |

Does anyone know how to reach him? If butch hasn't got time to look after things it might be worth getting another admin to assist him. But if he's dissapeared off the face of the earth, what will become of the forum? |

I hope that Densha will show up. He should send a pm to all the forum members with info tha the forum is still alive. If he won't show up... well... we could always open a new forum, but in my honest opinion that would be a huge loss of a work that he put into this place and also this forum has a great amount of information about densha and densha related stuff. So come on Densha, show up! |

I have to agree with you there Mike, theres a mountain of stuff on this forum that we would pretty much loose if we were to migrate. C'mon Densha! Come back! |

Outside of Japan, these games are still something of a specialised interest, so this forum was always likely to go through quiet phases. Real life has a habit of interrupting our passtimes, too! Densha said that he was working on a replacement site, so I hope that's still on-going, even if it ends up residing on a different domain name. I plan to put up pics & info on my controller collection on my own site when I get a chance & I'll post here when that happens. Plus there's still the mystery of why the PC games seem to be a bit cranky about installing on some systems to solve... |

Lately my laptop died and I was forced to buy a new PC. It's a really new one and running on Vista 64. I've tried all the densha games especially checking the ones that are reported to cause problems for some of the people in here. It all installed fine, so I'm still no help for all the poor guys out there. |

Let's just hope that the forum will live-on for a looong time. Me myself haven't been here for some time now, but it surley is nice to pop in sometimes. I agree with you limey, the games really has a special aura around them. Offering a sense & feeling of some sort, something that's hard to describe. I just love them But it's a narrow path... My friends still think I'm a little curious.
