1. DDG Final - just captures the atmosphere of riding on Japanese trains so well, is smooth and I find it the most enjoyable to play. 2. DDG Shinkansen (PS2) - Relaxing, and the fantastic music really adds to it all. Love the photos from all over Japan as well, but Taito - why no night mode?! 3. DDG Professional - Unparallelled selection of routes and first appearance of certain aids that make the games easier for people like me who're terrible ![]() 4. DDG Fukkatsu Showa no Yamanote Sen - Was thinking of selling it at first, but stuck with it and started to find it really enjoyable. The wealth of extra content makes it quite different to the other titles as you can learn a lot about the Yamanote Line and Japanese railways in general through it. Still loses points for the touchscreen-only controls (how does having to look at your controls help with something like driving a train?). They really should have at least included an option for standard button controls. 5. DDG Pocket Tokaido Sen - I know I've already got Final there, but there's nothing like being able to play DDG while being buffeted around on a real train. And Tokaido has the longest line and most amount of content. |
