Yo!

i have it since last summer and always played it when i found
1 or 2 free hours since its very long lasting..

i somehow LOVE the game..
even being simplistic and boring for some people..
but hey.. at least you can go and make yourself a coffee
while flying over Japan...

i've been playing it for some time now and only unlocked some new flying routes and videos...

i know you can unlock some planes...
*****SPOILER******

(i am waiting sooo much for the legendary YS-11)

******END OF SPOILER******

does someone else play it?
actually... its a direct port from the PS2 version, right!?

since it was re-released in 2006 (its written at the title screen). i thought they could at least put in the new painjob from JAL....
but i dont know if there maybe are different unlockables...

maybe some of you could post so we could share some impressions...

i had it on ps2 with the controller (i sold both on this forum last year).

i really enjoyed it (horrible graphics though), and would play it like you for a hour or two now and again. i loved traveling from one japanese airport to another (you couldnt do this with the psp version, which is why i thought that version sucked!)

the psp version only had objectives in it (like landing , doing a circle round the airport, etc...)

Hi!

Yes I have Jet De Go 2 the ps2 version...
Bought it back in 2002 at ebay.. but I didn't have a modified ps2 back then so when I recieved it I went to a friend who had a modified ps2 to try out the game.

We were playing for maybe 1 hour and then I got back home and put the game on the shelf.. and there it has been for 5 years now collecting dust..

Until 1 week ago when I finally modified my ps2 (at last!!) I was able to play that game again after 5 years...

The game is ok.. but the only view that's acceptable in my opinion is the 'chase-view' but that big 'ol plane covers up half the screen making it hard to see were to go or where next checkpoint is.. It shall be said that i haven't played the game for very long.. just some 2 hours or so,....

And I agree with butch... there are terrible graphics...But I really like the intro-movie though, it has a very nice musical score.. Really like that tune..
