It works?! Really?

I thought it was a DVD-9 Double Layer or something to that effect...

Thanks to all of you for your help! :)

I bought MTC in 2005 when I came to Tokyo ^^*
...
The only drawback I found, is that Railfan doesn't detect it :_(

Have you tried it with the DDG! cassette (B1-B8, P1-P5)?
Since Taitos Type 2 controller works with it, this combination "should" work too.

yes, with all cassetes I have. "dpad" buttons don't work also.

I supose ongakukan didn't bother including support for it :/

Also I supose that a Network Update adding support for it is nearly imposible :/

PD: Playing other Densah de GO! o Train Simulator games for PS2 on PS3 with MTC work just fine.

just found this in Railfan FAQ:

Quote:

wich basically means, that MTC is not usable and there are no plans to release any compatible controller (Though Type 2 works)

:/

Well, I'll try to get a Type 2 controller (along with the Shinkansen one for PS2) when I'm back to Tokyo this april.

the mtc has something in it that the cassettes have to match in order to work. the densha 2 controller even it has fixed stepps with the speed works also with different stepps. that makes him far more easy to handle and compatible to more games.
