its fully playable with swap magic. here's the controller (and in stock), but its not much fun to play with, conmpared to type 2 (which works with keihin)..... link The controller ends up costing around £50 inc postage, but when i bought mine last year, i was charged over £10 for customs fees, and it was detained at my local sorting office for 2 damn weeks, due to ncsx parcels being shipped via the awful Parcelforce (british international shipping service). |

in one point i disagree with butch. keihin is fun playing with this controller. useally i play wiht type 2 if i can but keihin is made for this controller (or the other way around) and fits the game perfectly. if you want to play keihin, get the controller.....nice to see that its in stock somewhere, grab it. the game wil pop up here and there.... |

The "Multi Train Controller" by Sheeps (SOTP-031201) works for every PS2 game of the DDG! and TS series - but for TS - "Kyushu Shinkansen" you need a additional notch gear cassette (SOTP-040501) because the game was released after the controller. One controller, plays all: ![]() ![]() Once ordered mine at Play-Asia but now the company Sheeps seems to be out of business and the controllers are totally rare. |

thats correct animalica. but the mascon controller has aditional lights an buttons to fit the game best. if you want one for all you take the mtc. if you want the best for this game you take the mascon. only my 2cents ;-) |

The MTC also has lights - but no additional buttons for just this game. Are the buttons speed limiters for 30km/h and 45 km/h? |

the buttons and lights on the left site are missing on the mtc the lights are indicating atc, 45 and 15 km/h the one button is for the changing red light. and the other one or two i forgot. one is switched from the lower right of the mtc to the left of the mascon. sorry, i havent played it for a year |

I bought MTC in 2005 when I came to Tokyo ^^* It's a really good controller, and the best is that it works virtually for every PS2 train game. I also bought shinkansen cassetes. The only drawback I found, is that Railfan doesn't detect it :_( |
