I have it since 2 days, but had no time to play much yet! All I can say that the game seems to be much more difficult than other densha games, the loading times are a bit long too and the video frame rate has some little hiccups during gameplay. But I think all Ongakukan games had the same trouble and are a little more difficult to play than the Taito games.

I think everybody who preordered that game will receive free white gloves with the train simulator logo on, I bought the game from a ebay-shop, so my asian version (that is completely the same like the japanese one, only a "How to play" sheet in english and chinese is included) came together with that "gimmick".

I really have not played enough to give you a good impression yet, but I think if you liked the "Train Simlutator + Densha de go Tokyu Line", then you won´t be disappointed by this title.

It's supposed to be the same as PS2 version. I'll post my impressions a bit later.

Although the game has an english instruction sheet (at least the asian version), I have not fully understood how to get points in the game. I have played 3 routes already, I make some mistakes sometimes, but I think I am not playing that bad, but I still got 0 points. I am a little frustrated with the game, although I like it somehow, but I am not sure if I will ever see any new tracks that I have to buy with my points.

I'm sure we can all help each other out with it, when the rest of us receive our copies.

Mine should be here any day now, i'm really looking forward to it since i cant play my ps2 version with swap magic.

I have had mine for a few days now.

Initial observations...

Much harder than expected. You have to earn points to "buy" additional trains. There is also a strategy element in that you also appear to have to maintain your unlocked trains after a run.

The AE100 is a bitch to driver, if you try and drive conventionally you lose loads of points particularly when applying brakes. it appears you are supposed to use cruise control above a certain speed with the + (which you have to hold down) to increase and the minus to reduce, returning to the H position once set. I have unlocked the big run - Ueno to Narita - but even using the above it is very hard to earn enough points to get a "pass".

One other thing, the game really chews through the PSP battery power!

Hmm.....sounds intresing. My copy should arrive from Sonetikit (ebay) this week all being well.

I'm guess the cruise control is something to do with not drawing power where you don't need to.

I'm still struggling with MTS+Densha - the breaking is quite difficult in non-densha mode.
