Jet De Go Psp

BigVern

Just got my PS2 copy today.

Had a quick flight on "Easy" mode, though messed up at the end as for some reason the AI controlling the throttle kept wanting to power down the runway even though I was braking like mad with the Square button.

Nice game though the viewpoint looking at the tail is not the best one to enjoy the scenery as you're lining up with the waypoints.

I like the game too, but I was a little disappointed that the whole "cruising" part disappeared. I liked it on the PSOne Jet de go, there you had to fly through some Nav Points by yourself, for some Nav Points you got an auto pilot. On Jet de go 2 on PS2 you had to fly through every Nav Point by yourself, that made the game unnecessarily boring and long. But without Nav Points the routes seem to be too short again! Why they havenīt made it like the first Jet de go! There was no need to change that system. But anyways a good game.

I've heard alot of good feedback about the original Jet De Go!, i think i'll have to pick it up, although it's pretty rare now.

Actually I quite like the cruise element though the altitude change requirements are a tad unrealistic!

Jet de go is not very realistic, it is based on an arcade game (the first Jet de go! was an arcade machine)! And youīre right, the first Jet de go on PSOne is still the best. I loved it! I bought the "Playstion The Best" version 2 years ago at Amazon Japan.

@Butch:

Iīll go to Japan in summer again, if you canīt get it before somewhere and you still want it, please let me know, I will go on the search for it in Akihabara, because Iīll go there anyway!

@ Orochi Makkusu-san: Are you really talking about Jet de go? I canīt remember anything about unlocking new planes and paint colours, because all planes are from JAL (the whole game is a kind of commercial for JAL), so they are simply white and have that airline logo on it! All I have unlocked on the PS2 and PSone versions are some videos and on the PSOne game some kind of minigame where you had to dock a transporter to the front wheel of a plane. Thatīs it!

Hy there ^-^

Yup, i am sure i am talking about Jet de Go! Pocket!!
well.. i dont know if you can call it unlocking..
but... you actually start with 3 planes...
or 4 if you count the 2 kinds of 747..

but you get a bunch of other planes..
aaaand.. since its a never game you have the new paintjob
from JAL (since 2003 i think)
but you can unlock the older one as well as another paintjob
for JALs daughter airline JTA and JEX....

i see it as "unlocking" since i got them after some flights...

if you want i can post it...... but like i said, i dont want to spoil anything!!

i miss the minigame from jet 1 -.-;

Ah, O.K.! I think that was a kind of missunderstanding. I thought you can really paint the planes different (I have the PSP Jet de go too, but I have not unlocked much yet). I think I will go back playing Jet de go now, I also want to unlock the older JAL planes ;-)
