Anyone played it yet? I've seen them for sale on eBay in just the last couple of days. I ordered one but it has to ship from overseas so it's going to take a couple of weeks to get here. I'm anxious! My biggest concern is whether or not I'll be able overcome the language barrier and figure out how to play it, not knowing Japanese.

im still waiting for mine to be dispatched from yesasia (they are currently looking for suppliers), and i havn't heard of anyone who has received there's yet on the various import forums i visit.

If it's anything like the ps2 version, the language barrier won't be a problem! :)

OK BOYS!

well i recieved my copy today, which in turn,my opinion, the game is great, although not recomended to those who have never flown a plane before(pc,console, etc...)
the graphics are definitly better than what i expected for a portable game. i got my copy from http://www.ncsx.com/ which i ordered on friday, and recieved today(mind you that i am 4 hours away from the city too)
it also came with an english manual of the instruments in the cockpit of the plane,
a big help to those who don't really know about the layout of the cockpit. i have been flying for about 6 years on the pc,and really flown 2 or 3 times back when i was in the service. so this game is much easier to someone who has previous experience, although if you are a newbie, you won't really have a problem learning it,maybe 2-3 hours before the full understanding of the game.
any questions reguarding the instrument panel in the cockpit, i will be glad to help as much as i can.
i will try to write more yp this week sometime,as soon as i get more time, for now,
i have a flight to tend to!

Anyone translated the ratings at the end. Seems you get rated for landing and other things but don't know what they are.

not yet, although there is a brief faq on gamefaqs, hopefully it will be updated with the ratings translation some time.

Bought mine yesterday at Funz Centre for S$62. Very interesting to fly planes, but nothing beats driving trains. I still prefer playing DDG.

One of the PSP magazines I read seemed to hint this might get a western release on PSP, unless they are getting confused with Kuju Pilot Academy. Out of interest, does anyone know if the PS2 version works with the Swap Magic disc?
