Looks like a refreshing twist on the sim game, but unsure if you can design your own routes....
Choo, Choo!

It does look a bit basic TBH compared to the likes of Trainz, but i think its more geared more toward fun then anything else.

Still, some nice Vistas.

It seems to be a signalling style game rather than a driving simulation. I see there is a demo video on the site linked above.

Certainly worth a look.

if its the game i think it is then its more of a puzzel game featuring trains, you get given a certain task like train A goes to point C but train B goes to D without getting in teh way of train A

I know I have it here somewhere since it came as a full versoin on one of my games, now i just need to find it hehe

Yes it was Locomania. Played it a bit but as said above more of a puzzle game than a proper despatching sim.

first off i want to apoligise for reviving a long dead thread but i didnt notice the date on it at the time

anyways, i looked through for teh game that I had & the one I described was one I have called loco-comotion (no not locomotion) it came free with railroad tycoon 3

but still i'm sure i have played loco-mania before & as all ready said by bigvern that my discription of it being a puzzle game is acurate

anywyas, again sorry for reviving a long dead thread

I recall Loco-commotion from a few years back. I believe there were two versions, one programmed by the guy who was working on the now dead Black Five steam loco simulation. The other by an Eastern European outfit which, IMHO, plagiarised the earlier work but was included with another commercial release.

Locomania is a much more recent work only being released this year I believe.
