I'm currently trying to track it down this moment!. seems very rare.

do you buy your densha merchandise via yahoo japan auctions? if so, what service do you use?

can you tell which is your favorite?

GBC:
Densha de Go! is play- and enjoyable while Pocket Densha looks better but is no fun to play.

PSX:
The first DDG! hasn`t enough routes and Kisha de Go! is absolutely difficult.
It`s easier to operate a old DMU like a Kiha 115 or 117 (takes ages to speed up and miles to brake) than a steamtrain.
The others are good, although I miss those track preview window at some of them.

PS2:

DDG-3 is old and could have more routes and easier gameplay.
DDG-P2 has the best selection of trains and routes but many routes are very difficult.
DDG-R is lovely. They could release another streetcar game like this.
DDG-S has a nice cockpit view and graphics but since it`s only about Shinkansen the trains and routes are very limited.
DDG-F has the best graphics and gameplay but the routes and trains are a bit boring.

there are 2 versions of the densha de go 2 for ps
i know another cover where the train is closer to the camera. even closer than on the dc version.
is it just a different cover or are there different in play?

I think the one with the different cover is from the train controller bundle but otherwise it seems to be the same.

thanks for the detailed answer.

my top three over all systems of densha are:

ddg-f (best playability and graphics)
ddg-r (i like this streetcars and the challenging things to do in the more difficult setting)
ddg-s (the controller is so much fun. and if i cant sleep i play it on my sofa. usally waking up late at night :D )

all for ps2 and all with appropriate controller
i never play the others even i have them, like you say to difficult, lack of gameplay or for me to old graphics. they are more for collection purpose :P

and still not tried the psp ones yet.....

i hope like railfan for the trainsimulator series there will be a densha for ps3 with even better graphics and same playability like final. if not, lets see how densha for wii will be....

Thanks butch! Yep, it's a pachinko game. There are four different games and Densha de Go! is one of 'em.
