My Simple 2000 Densha Da Go 3 arrived from Play Asia on Monday (having been posted on November 26th).

I thought the tax and duty was about 23% for the UK (17.5% VAT and 6% duty).

For 16,99 $ you can`t complain and he knows how to fill out the customs declaration.

And tomorrow I can pick up my Multi Train Controller - at the customs... :(
One way over 20 km, rush hour, narrow route and also through the city... and then back again...

Since Play-Asia doesn`t fill out the customs sticker in a customer friendly way anymore, why don`t they add the invoice now?
If you declare the sticker truthful, there is no reason to leave out the invoice!

Paying VAT and customs fee is okay, but the needless hassle to pick up the parcel...

VAT is 16% but they want to move it up to 19% in the next 2 years - smart way to kill the tiny improvements of the weak economy...

Custom fees? No clue!
The young girl that served me at the customs took nearly a half hour to fill out dozens of papers, calculating with a pocket calculator and hacking at the PC.

# Multi Train Controller 95 $
# Coupon -5$
# Shipping 24,50 $
Total 114,50 $

On the customs papers:

# Import turnover tax 64,47 Euro
# Import duty 10,32 Euro

I got absolutely no clue what she calculated, but my impression is that 10,32 Euro was a good deal for me.
16% VAT for the controller would be 11,50 - 12 Euro.

First I need to figure out what all those buttons are for...
Especially the small lever on the right.
And the chart for all the different train games isn`t really helpful since it`s in japanese too.

TS-KS only works rudimental (didnīt thought that those exchangeable cassette is also a circuit board) and TS+DDG worked immediately.
DDG-R and DDG-P2 didn`t worked for me but I don`t got the mood to figure it out now - maybe at the weekend.

the small one on the top right is to manually drive the train backwards. if you overshoot, go to the parking position, little stick down, and the train drives with the big one backwards. once back at station, eb and the little one back to forward. you have to set this up in the options. otherwise it will be done automaticly.

another thing, the mtc only works (afaik) with the right (i dont now the english word) black thing from eb to max speed. it refuses to work if the scale is not correct for the software. thats the reason you get multiples with the package and you can buy some specials for the shinkansen trainsimulator
