Jeffgar was at his day job. He had decided to locate his base of operations of Hopsings in Heartville because people assumed that it was just a construction zone and that there really wasn't much to see there. That was perfect for a secret organization. He was sifting through some paperwork when his cell phone rang. Jeffgar was really glad that he finally got a phone that had texting because now he could text his friends and his friends could text him. He picked it up and read the rather lengthy message. The message was almost as long as the one that True Red had sent Bobby a couple of days ago. After Jeffgar finished, he wondered something. Why would Birdman send it to him? Yes, they had stopped Uncle Pudge's monsters in Liver City together, but that did not seem like they immediately trusted each other back then. If Birdman had really become hero, then why not send a message to his new buddy Galoshes. Jeffgar had heard that Birdman faked being a hero, but that still didn't explain why he contacted Jeffgar. Jeffgar knew that he was not a good guy, but he wasn't a bad guy either. He decided that Birdman needed to be rescued regardless of the reason he contacted Jeffgar. Now Oils had to decide whether he should save him or not. What good would saving Birdman do for him? He would owe him certainly, but the main reason to help Birdman was that he was against Uncle Pudge. That was more than enough reason to save him. Jeffgar picked up his phone and dialed in a number that only he knew to contact coedname: Lights Out, one of the handlers in Hopsings. He knew that Ungle Pudge had almost definitely made the prison Jeffgar-proof, so he would need someone trained in doing things like that. Once a Specialist of Hopsings had successfully infiltrated and effectively disabled the things that would have made it Jeffgar-proof. Jeffgar could just walk in, but he would still need to turn invisible and be able to phase through objects. The Specialist could not do everything, but JRT was confident that he or she would be able to do just enough to save him. Once he set up all the arrangements, he had one of the recruits drive him somewhat close to the jail so that when the Specialist finished, he could walk inside and free Birdman. |
