A note about EVENT CANCELLATIONS and other time-sensitive updates: When something happens that we want everybody to know about - RIGHT NOW - we do a couple of things. The information will be posted in the "Official Announcements" section and it will also be posted on Twitter and the CWIRA blog. However, if this info (like a race cancellation at 6am) happens when there is no internet access for us - it will be on Twitter first because that can be updated via cell phone. We recomend that if you are set up for it - follow us on twitter.com/cwira and enable your cell/text to recieve twitter updates on race day. Or, if you have a web-enabled phone you can access the info at cwira.blogspot.com or twitter.com/cwira.

Its been a few years since I raced a CWIRA event. My daughter Hanna raced her 1st race today in the 85cc class. She had a blast and wants to keep racing (when we can).

Just wanted to say how well I thought it all was run. I always remember Guy doing a good job, and he's (and his many helpers, as well as all the normal cwira lifers......Strangfeld, Bill, scorers, etc) still at it.

1st class Guy! The food, the heated shelter, the prizes, the tire throw, the parking, all of it.......very nice!

The weather helped to.........can you say perfect!

Chris (Hanna's Dad).

My Dexterville Race Face.

The official CWIRA photog Chris Burback got this one. When he sent it over he said "you look mad!"?

What? Never seen a "race face"? At least I had my "elbows up" and was looking in the right place.

This is what it looks like when you are having the time of your life. Got a solid 4th on the day in AM Vet BTW. Even the Banshee was running good until I lost air in the RR. Track was getting pretty chewed up Sunday but it looked like most people got though it OK.

More work from Chris at http://chrisburback.smugmug.com/Ice-Racing-2010. We should have more Dexterville pics up shortly.
