A note about EVENT CANCELLATIONS and other time-sensitive updates: When something happens that we want everybody to know about - RIGHT NOW - we do a couple of things. The information will be posted in the "Official Announcements" section and it will also be posted on Twitter and the CWIRA blog. However, if this info (like a race cancellation at 6am) happens when there is no internet access for us - it will be on Twitter first because that can be updated via cell phone. We recomend that if you are set up for it - follow us on twitter.com/cwira and enable your cell/text to recieve twitter updates on race day. Or, if you have a web-enabled phone you can access the info at cwira.blogspot.com or twitter.com/cwira.

With the Weyauwega race this weekend here is some information on who actually is promoting this event:

Just wanted to let everyone know that if there is a profit made on Weyauwega Fire on Ice this is where it goes:

Who We Are

W-F Youth Programs, are the future . We are a close-knit community helping children develop into responsible adults. We hope to build character, self esteem and confidence that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. W-F Programs are made up from a cross section of clubs ranging from service groups, church groups, and sports clubs. Together we can teach our youth to succeed academically, socially and athletically by sharing, learning, and working together in this project as well as maintaining a fun atmosphere. All funds raised from this event go back into these groups to help support the goals each club has set to help develop the future of our growing communities.
Each partipating club would like to Thank You in advance for your interest and support of this event!
