A note about EVENT CANCELLATIONS and other time-sensitive updates: When something happens that we want everybody to know about - RIGHT NOW - we do a couple of things. The information will be posted in the "Official Announcements" section and it will also be posted on Twitter and the CWIRA blog. However, if this info (like a race cancellation at 6am) happens when there is no internet access for us - it will be on Twitter first because that can be updated via cell phone. We recomend that if you are set up for it - follow us on twitter.com/cwira and enable your cell/text to recieve twitter updates on race day. Or, if you have a web-enabled phone you can access the info at cwira.blogspot.com or twitter.com/cwira.

From I 90: Take Exit 12 West Salem.
Take a right at stop sign heading North.
Take a left at stop sign on to Garland Street.
Head West about six blocks to stop sign.
Take a right on to Leonard Street.
Follow Leonard North to Hwy 16.
Take a right onto US Hwy 16.
Take another right at the SECOND driveway on your right.
This is Swarthout Park. The boat landing is straight ahead.

From Black River Falls: Take Hwy 54 South toward Melrose to Cty C (on your left.)
*NOTE: Hwy 54 turns into Hwy 108 before you get to Cty C!*
Stay on C to the stop sign.
Go straight through the stop sign toward Hwy 16.
At Hwy 16 you will see Swarthout Park in front of you.
The boat landing is straight back.

* FYI: The boat landing at Swarthout Park is quite steep and icy. There is another entrance to the lake. Take Hwy 16 south to Leonard Street(buisiness district). Go two blocks and turn left on Tilson Street. This becomes a gravel road that leads to the lake. It is about a mile back. There will be CWIRA workers at this entrance as well as at the boat landing.*

Any questions? Call Ryan Powell at 608-498-1928 or 608-786-4018
