A note about EVENT CANCELLATIONS and other time-sensitive updates: When something happens that we want everybody to know about - RIGHT NOW - we do a couple of things. The information will be posted in the "Official Announcements" section and it will also be posted on Twitter and the CWIRA blog. However, if this info (like a race cancellation at 6am) happens when there is no internet access for us - it will be on Twitter first because that can be updated via cell phone. We recomend that if you are set up for it - follow us on twitter.com/cwira and enable your cell/text to recieve twitter updates on race day. Or, if you have a web-enabled phone you can access the info at cwira.blogspot.com or twitter.com/cwira.

We need workers for the CWIRA Promoted Mid-Season Champ Race. This is the race that pays for most of the awards and Season Banquet - so it's kinda important.

The "Work For Points" program is in full effect, so if you work - you get 20 points in all the classes you compete in. Also, you personally do not have to actually work - if you get a friend to work for you it counts the same.

For the Mid-Season in particular we need:

Gate people - those are the people who take your money at the gate in the morning.
Flaggers
Vending help

Plus the usual setup & teardown crew.

If you can help, contact Jim Falke, Larry Strangfeld or post here.
