A note about EVENT CANCELLATIONS and other time-sensitive updates: When something happens that we want everybody to know about - RIGHT NOW - we do a couple of things. The information will be posted in the "Official Announcements" section and it will also be posted on Twitter and the CWIRA blog. However, if this info (like a race cancellation at 6am) happens when there is no internet access for us - it will be on Twitter first because that can be updated via cell phone. We recomend that if you are set up for it - follow us on twitter.com/cwira and enable your cell/text to recieve twitter updates on race day. Or, if you have a web-enabled phone you can access the info at cwira.blogspot.com or twitter.com/cwira.

Thoughts: Jacob Cunningham is 15 years old. He was the smothest, fastest rider out there on Saturday. He beat the best on the track that day in the big bore Pro classes. He's by all accounts, one cool customer. That kid has a huge future ahead of him in motorcycle racing - take that one to the bank.

KX500's are not indistructable. A hole in the cases is never a good thing - this ones the size of a golf ball.

It takes about a day and a half to finally get used to the wind and cold standing on the lake. Ergo - by late Sunday everybody was happy - except the above mentioned KX500.

One more observation about Cunninghamn: In looking over the Chris Burback photos from Saturday I noticed that kid was driving thu the corners, Decoster style, with his fee on the pegs and making passes. Amazing.
