A note about EVENT CANCELLATIONS and other time-sensitive updates: When something happens that we want everybody to know about - RIGHT NOW - we do a couple of things. The information will be posted in the "Official Announcements" section and it will also be posted on Twitter and the CWIRA blog. However, if this info (like a race cancellation at 6am) happens when there is no internet access for us - it will be on Twitter first because that can be updated via cell phone. We recomend that if you are set up for it - follow us on twitter.com/cwira and enable your cell/text to recieve twitter updates on race day. Or, if you have a web-enabled phone you can access the info at cwira.blogspot.com or twitter.com/cwira.

We are working on a 3 hour motorcycle Ice Race one hour west of Minneapolis on a private lake with a resteraunt and bar , we are in the process of lining up cash prizes and transponder scoring.

This race WILL be open to AMA or Canadian type ice screws, Canadian style front fenders are also allowed, rear fenders are required.

The format is open, I'd like to get feed back on either the Steel Shoe format of Jeff's, feed back would be apperciated.

We would like to get an Endurance Series started for the following year, more info with follow.

Thanks
Jay

Looks to be a great race with cash payouts in all class's, the Burtrum Lion's club has put alot of work into building a long wide course, should be epic.

The track is set-up fast and flowing, 3.1 miles long and 30+ feet wide every where.

There will also be Pro Ice sled ovals going on during the bike race so there will be plenty of action to watch.

See yo there.
