Awesome shit! Good luck. I hope you get to watch Japanese shit on YouTube and be able to understand it. Would it ruin it? IDK.

What if they say absurdly smart things between doing silly things on game shows? Weirdness gone or enhanced?

The original Chimpanzee on a segway clip might have really informational commentary on monkey facts.

The hardest part right now is certain words don't have letters that are pronounced.

Suki for example is pronounced ski. Suki means "I like". Desu is pronounced Des and is used for "is", "am" or "are". Both are very common and tricky to remember the silent letters.

Learn quickly, then translate the things I want to watch on Youtube that I can't understand. I would love to learn as well, I just can't be bothered. I only know what I picked up watching two years of subtitled anime.
