Whats left in the wrestling video games industry? THQ have proven there worth over and over, which happens to be the same price as being killed in a car crash. Midway went bankrupt, so no way there is gonna be a TNA 2 game, that fixes the problem in the first, which was a fair rough draft. and according this Sonny bone guy, Spike's done with wrestling games, no KOC,no FPR, nothing. So what's left? THQ owns the market, just the same way a fat guy might own the Boston Market,Spike has faded out of the scene, and Midway has went out with a whimper. I think No Mercy might be the only redeeming wrestling game left today. So i'm going to put forth more effort trying to get all this "toki and addies" language, so i can start hacking instead of depending on a monthly code source. but all that aside the question still stands, What's left in the modern wrestling game industry? |

The last great wrestling game was either Smackdown vs Raw or SVR 2006. Although I will admit I never really enjoyed the Smackdown engine. I don't think the arcade style works for wrestling and I greatly prefer whatever that engine they used for Nintendo was. Wrestlemania 2000, No mercy, Mania XIX, DOR 1 and 2 are all better then any smackdown game, including HCTP. I blame it on PS2's success. If gamecube sold like the wii is selling now, we would still have that awesome engine and not this smackdown crap. |

The only games I have left that I love to play are: - WWF WrestleMania 2000 (The game I grew up with, freakin love it) - Modded & Hacked WWF No Mercy - Day Of Reckoning 2 - SmackDown!: Here Comes the Pain - Fire Pro Wrestling Returns Sad news, wrestling games in general are dead to me, except for those above of course. Also, I heard somewhere THQ may not be continuing the WWE series. Seriously, wtf is going on here? |

But later could show signs of improvement, of a real sense of wrestling. THQ just keep showing up with the same game with better graphics with a couple pearls and way more then a couple faults, They don't improve, they just fucking add. |
