Oh shit, I can't fucking wait for this. It looks amazing and damn when was the last direct Street Fighter sequel? 1999. 10 years ago Capcom made Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike, which is one of the best fighting games of all time. Street Fighter 4 looks like a solid mix of Street Fighter 3 and Street Fighter 2. SF 3 was not user friendly in the sense that no one can just pick up and play unless they have had past Street Fighter experience. Street Fighter 2 has the appeal that anyone can pick it up and play it's much more simple. SF 4 however looks to have the combos and somewhat of a parry system that made SF 3 great, but is much more simple like SF 2. In short, this is a game that anyone can play. I can see a rise in SF players just because of SF 4. February 17th, I can not fucking wait. I'll keep watching this clip from a SF 3 tournament for the next 17 days http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KS7hkwbKmBM&feature=related Edited by Duzzy, Feb 1 2009, 12:53 PM.

This needs more discussion. We are only 12 days away from the best fighting game of all time and only me and Mr. Zach "V.1." Ryder cares? It doesn't seem likely. I guess you guys want videos, and pretty pictures and awesome shit. http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/947/947989p1.html ^^^^ A countdown showing all the characters. Oh fuck, the worlds best Street Fighter player Daigo is already fucking people up in SF 4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m78XQcHntSk I would love to face Daigo. I would get bitch slapped but damn it would be one hell of a fight. |

What's the verdict then? I cant' decide whether or not to get it. I'm strapped for cash, but it's only £27.99 on Play.com... |

I am really loving it. If you liked Street Fighter 2, you'll love Street Fighter 4. It plays very similar but incorporates some things from Street Fighter 3. The experience is a very lean but deep game. It plays like SF 2 but it feels like a whole new fresh game because of the animations, new characters, and the whole 3D graphics, but on a 2D playing ground. The online is incredably addicting. On the first day I played from maybe 10:30 pm to 1:30 am getting my ass kicked by these old school pros and for some reason I still wanted more. I was 1-16 that day and I still wanted to play. However, that was midnight on opening day, if you avoid times like that you'll play people with your own skill and have even more fun with the online. The final call is this is one of the best fighting games I've played in years. Like always strategy is key in Street Fighter. If you miss a move you will pay for it, if your opponent misses a move make sure they pay for it. If your up for a really deep fighting game that has very funny, ridiculous animations and really fun game play I strongly recommend it. Honestly the best thing to do is play the old Street Fighter 2 (I recommend Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo on around Turbo 1 or Turbo 2 speed) and if it's still fun for you, get SF4 because it plays exactly the same but feels like a whole new experience. |

I'm getting sick of all these Ken and Ryu noobs online. All they do is jump kick then leg sweep then shoryuken. It's pathetic. So bad that I found a chart of all Ken players![]() I wish that was an exaggeration, but it's not. I might take a break from online because of it. It's getting really annoying. I had over 1000 battle points today, now I have around 600 points because I lost to 6 or 7 noobs who just want their damn achievement. Edited by Duzzy, Feb 26 2009, 04:46 PM.
