Guardians of the Galaxy - 9/10 Easily my favourite Marvel Studios film. Very funny, awesome characters, and dare I say that Batista was actually awesome? I loved it |

The Expendables 3: 8/10 Moved extremely fast at some points, and some cuts in the action scenes were hard to follow. I really appreciated certain elements of the story being like, a metaphor for not only the characters passing the torch to newer guys, but also them as action movie actors passing the torch to the newbies in the movie. |

So I went camping and we went to a local drive in theatre and the double feature was... Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 3/10 And.... Transformers: Age of Extinction - 2/10 TMNT was not as bad as I thought it would be, but it was still pretty bad. It was at least short (90 minutes) in a time when these blockbuster movies are all 2+ hours now and Will Arnett was trying his damndest to be entertaining and the plot was simple and straight forwardish. The Turtles were so ugly, Megan Fox was shit, The Turtles were unlikeable and unfunny and just overall dull. Transformers: AOE though...BRUTAL! What a fucking long, boring, loud, mindless shitty movie. We left before it finished and we watched 2 and a half hours of the movie. It literally had zero thought and soul. There's a fucking scene where Mark Whalberg crashes into a Bud Light truck, Bud Light bottles go everywhere, he picks up a bottle and drinks it...The movie was nothing but a big cash grab, a 2 hour 45 minute commercial for car companies, Bud Light, Victoria Secret and countless other brands with their logo clearly displayed. I can actually go on and on about it, but fuck it, the rating says it all. Edited by Duzzy, Aug 10 2014, 07:08 PM.

Not today, but I've watched a few this past year: A Million Ways to Die in the West - 8/10 I don't know what it was, cuz I'm normally not the biggest Seth MacFarlane fan, but I genuinely loved it. I was laughing hard throughout and quoting it with everyone for a week straight. It was stupid, and touching, and ridiculous. I know the critics hated it, or thought it was 'meh', but this is why I don't really take ratings to heart. Everyone has their own opinions. X-Men: Days of Future Past - 9/10 This was a fantastic movie from beginning to end. The Quicksilver scene being one of the best things I've seen in a long time. Evan Peters is amazing in everything he does. Godzilla 2014: - 7/10 The CGI was amazing, the monster fights were fantastic and Bryan Cranston is Bryan Cranston. Everyone and everything else in this movie however was reeeaaally slacking, and sometimes even quite stupid that it takes you away from it. The leading couple were both quite garbage. Me thinks some acting lessons? Fight Club: - 9/10 This is another classic that I just saw not too long ago. Dark and brilliant. Fun and wacky at the same time being so thought provoking. The Avengers: - 8.5/10 Just saw this not too long ago as well. Really enjoyed it! The fight scenes were great, especially the big final fight, the build up was done well, the interactions between them was fun, solid movie overall. And ScarJo? 10/10 omg. Her in that suit. I cant. 22 Jump Street: - 9/10 So. Fucking. Funny. I loved this movie. The chemistry that Tatum and Hill have is amazing. Neighbours: - 9/10 I'm a comedy fan, cant tell yet? lol. But seriously, Zac Efron as the crazy partying frat leader and Seth Rogan as the new dad trying to make his way through life while still being a bit of a manchild? Thoroughly enjoyable film. Rubber: - 1/10 It's a living tire that ends up doing some shit sometimes. I fucking hate my bud for this one lol. |

The Amazing Spider-Man 2. 8/10 I liked it a whole lot more than I did the early 2000 spiderman movies. Toby fucking ruined Spider-Man for a long ass time for me. I don't really remember the first Amazing Spider Man but I know I didn't not like it, this one was pretty dope too. I love how they set up for the Sinister Six, should be hella tight. |

Let's be Cops: 7/10 Pretty slow start, but gets better. Has a couple moments where I was in tears, then lags in parts. Like, it can get genuinely unfunny, or you can sense the try hard, but they do redeem themselves in big ways. Definitely a roller coaster ride of comedy, in the sense of highs and lows. BONUS NINA DOBREV PICS! <3 Spoiler: click to toggle mmmmpls |

Let's Be Cops was one of the best movies I've seen in a while. I can't grade it but I thought it was good. I felt it was more aware of what it was trying to do than other movies, and it was a lot better than I expected. |

Oh, I personally enjoyed the movie overall. The group I went with had the opposite opinion on that actually. We were actually going in expecting it to be a lil more than what it was, but not leaving disappointed either. |

Godzilla(2014) 6/10 Kinda dragged on and on, even the fight scenes seemed hella slow. Not too bad though, i prefer the one from 1999 better though. Dope ass effects however, worth at least one watch. |

Gone Girl - 10/10 Yep, giving it a perfect 10. My only complaint was the score was meh, but other than that this movie was friggin crazy. I saw it last night and I still can't stop thinking about it. If you want a realistic mind bending, thought provoking, dark, twisted movie, I highly recommend it! Encourage friends to watch it with you as when you finish watching it, you'll want to discuss it with others. |

Just started a week off of college. Punch-Drunk Love - 9/10 Interesting movie, especially considering that Adam Sandler is actually really, really good in it. It has a certain strangeness to it and isn't really that funny, but it's got a weird charm to it all. I really enjoyed it. Dead Poets Society - 5/10 I've always wanted to see this movie and now I finally have and meh...Everything kinda felt too forced and contrived. I think there's a great message to it all (something about Seizing the day, hard to tell, they only said it about 100 times) but it's so forced that you just can't really enjoy it. Robin Williams is great in it, the acting in general is great, but the story and characters just didn't naturally progress enough for me to like it. The Blues Brothers - 8/10 I've always wanted to see this movie and now I finally have and yay! Simple, funny, awesome chase scenes. My only problem is it's a little long, but it was great! Catchy songs and some awesome cameos too. Edited by Duzzy, Oct 19 2014, 10:06 AM.
