Rise of The Planet of The Apes - 7/10

Much better than expected. Didn't really like the ending to much, but the scene shown in the credits was a much more satisfying ending.
I didn't really care much about seeing this film when I seen the first trailer, but the longer one had John Lithgow in it, so now I must see it.
I had nothing else to do last night and my theatre that has cheap prices had it. I never knew Lithgow was in it, it was an awesome surprise.

Smokin' Aces - 5/10

Useless plot, 1000's of characters. The story was a mess, but I'll admit the action was fun. The Tremors were awesome, the shootout at the end was cool, good music. Seriously, sometimes these sort of movies try hard to be an action film with "wit", but they come out like this. With like half the characters gone and the plot more simple I would've boosted this another point or 2.

After being bugged by a buddy of mine for so long, I finally watched:

A Clockwork Orange - 8/10

~Very enjoyable! Quirky, weird, funny and you somehow feel bad for the POS main character, which is brilliant. But, but... sometimes it felt like it was dragging on. And to be fair, it holds up well for a movie that is hyped up as much as it is. But it just felt dated. Not bad! Just way overhyped as one of the best movies of all time. Opinions and assholes. ;)~

I now have another classic movie lent to me by said buddy that I have yet to watch. Pulp Fiction. Will be back with results within the week!

Ooh, I'm sure you'll get a Duzzy response on this one. I watched it a while ago. It is a very unique movie, that's for sure.

Interview with the Vampire. 6/10

I couldn't really remember some of it so I rewatched it last night. Not as good as I thought it was back in the day. Watching Tom Cruise bite Brad Pitt on the neck was pretty disturbingly fagish behavior.

I'm a one and done guy with watching movies alone that I don't love long time. But I wouldn't protest seeing it again with others.

Get Him to the Greek - 8/10

~This is such a solid comedy! Why did I hear so much negativity? Nonsense! It was touching, jokes, overall really fun.~

Pulp Fiction - 9/10

~This was a great movie! Doesn't feel dated, definitely wasn't hurt by the hype. Almost every single line that was uttered in this film was gold.~

And poor Marcellus Wallace. :P

Children of Men - 9/10

Solid movie, full of suspense and every death felt so harsh and real and brutal. Loved the long takes of camera movement, my god those parts were the best. Overall I loved it!

Good Will Hunting - 8.5/10

Great movie, I think it'll be better with re watches but I really enjoyed the Matt Damon and Robin Williams scenes. Both guys brought such life to the characters and story, but other than those scenes the rest of the movie was alright.

Hoop Dreams - 9/10

A little long at 3 hours, but at the same time it went by extremely fast. Great documentary, I really enjoyed it.

American Hustle - 6.5/10

It's a very performance based film. Granted all the performances are very good, I lost a lot of interest in the characters and the non-linear plot. It's not bad, but it certainly could have been a lot better. This was disappointing.
