Inglorious Basterds - 9.5/10

Yeah, I went to see it again just before they stopped showing it in the cinemas.

Zombieland - 8.5/10

From the trailers, I just thought it would be another poor generic zombie comedy. But it's not. It's one hell of a zombie comedy. On par with Shaun Of The Dead if you ask me. And it has Bill Murray in it. That really is enough reason to see any film.

;)

The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard - 7.5/10

I liked it. It was a good comedy. It had many memorable lines in it.

"I have a question to ask, do you know how much a polar bear weighs?"

"No, how much?"

"Enough to break the ice, hi I'm (Insert Name Here)."

I'm stealing that... Mainly for comedic value, but who knows, it might work with tha ladies

Same

Psycho - 9.2/10

The last couple of weeks we were watching it in english/media, but stopping and analysing camera shots/lighting.etc so i didn't watch it all the way through in one go. But i watched it at home yesterday and with my knowledge of the lighting, shots and whatever, i appreciated it so much more. It really is a classic.

That's great man. If anything those media classes should teach, is to appreciate the technical aspect of film making. Psycho really does feature a lot of great shots. Specifically the whole stuffed birds den scene, shower scene, the detective in the house and the last scene of Bates in prison. Those come out to mind the most.

If you are ever looking for movies to really analyze the technical aspect I would be glad to help man.

Sounds great, i'll be thinking, maybe pulp fiction, there's some interesting cam shots in there.

Pulp Fiction for sure is great, especially the two long tracking shots (the one of Jackson talking about eating pussy with Travolta and Bruce Willis walking to his apartment). Both over 4-6 minutes long, no cuts and is great camera movement.

Oh, oh! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8AXd1ayxrg Opening to Touch of Evil! One shot! It's fucking amazing. It blew my mind when I saw it.
