Crank 2: High Voltage - -17/10

Seeing as my friend and I have cinema cards and can see any film for free, we thought it would be a laugh to go see Jason Statham in his latest action filled hard man film. Dear God, what a mistake. It may have been the single worst movie experience of my life.

The film is just dreadful. I seriously seriously warn you all not to go see it. They know it's complete bollocks, but even with the creaters aware that it's the kind of film that's funny because the stuff in it is so ridiculous, it isn't enough to make it bareable.

There's a part where he puts a shotgun up a guy's arse to get information about him. He fucks Amy Smart on a horse racing track. He flies out of cars when he crashes them and falls from helicopters with barely a scratch. Though the one good thing I can say about the film, is that David Carradine plays an old chinese mob boss (Triads I think???) who likes hookers. I didn't realise who it was at first cause he's under quite a bit of make-up to make him look really old and chinese.

Oh yeah, and the story is about people stealing his heart, putting an electric one in him, and he's trying to get his old heart back, but needs to keep himself electrically charged to keep himself alive. If there isn't some form of action going on, there's tits in the background. As I said, the makers of it are aware how ridiculous it is, we know that. And they know that we know. And we know that they know that we know. But regardless, I hated this film. The money spent making it could've been better used on making a Disney film about some kind of talking animals in space.

I hate Jason Statham.

I hate Jason Statham.
The only good thing he ever did was Snatch. He plays the same damn character over and over.

Synecdoche, New York - ??/10

After seeing Philip Seymour Hoffman in the poster, I decided to go see it, but it is one weird film. Naturally, Hoffman kicked ass in it, but it's really weird. I'm not sure where or not I advise you to go see it... Regardless, I did enjoy it, I'm just not entirely sure why...

Hamlet 2

7.5/10

Great comedy! Very entertaining movie with a fantastic story to it. Around half way into the movie I found myself getting way into it. A classic it is not, but one of the best recent comedies it is.

I really want to see that, I love Steve Coogan. I have no idea when it's coming out here though.
