Several ships lined themselves up in position, this small group of ships consisted of various battleship and cruiser types of the Jupiter Empire's space force. It was unusual for such a large grouping of vessels, particularly at a location like this considering that it was certainly not a staging point for attacking a hostile territory.

The lead ship was a Musaka class light cruiser called Gettysburg, and within the ship's hanger was the Impulse Gundam in a rather battered but working condition. The left leg looked very much out of place with it being very clean and straight compared to the rest of the body, since that leg from the knee down had just been replaced after it had been destroyed in a recent battle with the enemy's new and unknown newtype mobile suit.

Oscar Coyle was currently standing on the walkway to one side of the hanger, watching the mobile suit mechanics work away on his Gundam as they overhauled various components in preparation for its next outing... whenever that may be. Oscar was certainly pleased at how he had somehow managed to rally so many ships in such a short amount of time, after all he was in the middle of a battle at the Arbiter just a week previously. It was then that his thoughts were interrupted by a crewman of the Gettysburg.

"The Captain would like to see you, Major." The male crewman said to Oscar before snapping off a brisk salute and turning about to head back out the door that he had just come in from. Oscar duly returned the salute before making his way out of the Hanger and up to the bridge of the cruiser.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" The Captain of the Gettysburg quizzed Oscar Coyle while they both analysed the data being displayed at the ops desk. The Captain was called Joseph Frank, who happened to be a somewhat experienced leader but had never been in command of a task force like this before. He was definitely in his late fourties, with short grey hair and all the characteristics of his age showing through, but yet he still remained as a rather bulky person and as such would not be someone you would pick a fight with since he even was taller than the likes of Oscar.

"I never said it was a good idea, Joseph, but this has to be done. How things are going, we are not going to be any worse off if this plan goes horribly wrong." Oscar replied back to Captain Frank, even though Oscar knew himself that if this plan went wrong then the Jupiter Empire would indeed be far worse off than if he had attempted to do what he was scheming with the others.

"Right..." said Joseph Frank before continuing. "So where do you want to go to perform the transmission?"

Oscar waved his hand over the ops table that was now displaying an overview of the various regions in the vicinity of Earth. "I think this place would be ideal..." He said while putting his finger down on the location labelled Aargon.

Captain Frank snapped his head up at Oscar and looked quite concerned. "That place is quite a disputed location with it being so close to the Earth. It also means that we could end up being attacked by either force once the message gets out..."

Oscar Coyle smiled back at Frank, and Frank was now completely bewildered about what Oscar was smiling about. "Joseph, that's one of the reasons why I think it's an ideal place. It will get them to go head to head with each other as well, while we will attempt to slip out." He paused for a brief moment. "With it also being a colony, it will have very powerful transmitters that would be ideal for relaying the transmission out to everyone about our intentions.... You'll just have to trust me on this one, as I see you're not keen about it at all."

"'course I'm not bloody keen about it, it could easily spell the end of this entire grouping of vessels." Responded Captain Frank as he stood upright again and turned away to face out of the bridge's windows, looking out into the deep vast open space. "Helm, plot a course for Aargon and inform the battlegroup that we're moving. Get us there at the best possible speed." Ordered the Captain, with the crew responding accordingly. Oscar stood back, and thanked the Captain before making his way out of the bridge. He had to prepare for his speech, and as such needed plenty of rest before making it so that he would be able to actually talk as clear as possible throughout the transmission.
