For those of us who want to discuss the book in a critiquing fashion instead of saying how amazing it is and all that. If these sort of topics are prohibited please tell me
Here's my first problem with Eragon: "The stone was cool and frictionless under his skin, and it was about a foot long." What, he was carrying a frictionless, heavy rock, (FRICTIONLESS - Like SOAP) for over ten miles for days on end? Where does he have the room, or the energy, to walk 10 miles in a day to get back to the farm anyway? I mean, come on; He manages to get to the farm before sunset, even though it's 10 miles away from Carvahall, even though it was supposedly twilight? On FOOT? All I have to say for now; I'm red-penning the book for fun as of last week xD. James |

I guess that makes sense...I try not to put books under the Microscope, it kinda ruins the experience after a while. |

Could you possibly mean the Great Eye Of Fire? As for bothering over these little details, every book has logical fallacies because it would take too long to describe everything, or detract from telling the story. |

Lol, yes that would be the Great Eye Of Fire
How did you guess?Anyway, I agree that the book has it's flaws, as does every book, but I won't criticise because I enjoyed it overall, and I think it would be rude to enjoy something then throw it back in the author's face. |
