When I read this I was like, "Oh no, not again!!!" I thought it would be a repeat of Goblet of Fire! I knew the Horcrux must have had something to do with Ron's behavior, but I would not have thought he would really walk out on them! What did you think at the time??? |

I thought Ron was being a jerk. I know that the horux had something to do with it, but I think that some of it was Ron too. I think the living out in the woods, moving everyday, half starving, and getting nowhere sometimes was starting to get to him and then the horux added to that and he just snapped. After he walked out I thought he might come back to them, but I wasn't sure. |

I was just plain angry!!! His insecurity had me on fire!!! I would have liked soooo much to slap some sense into him!!! But he knew he had done wrong. Proof was that he went to Bill's and not to the Burrow! |

I wanted to punch him, i mean if he had to have known that they wouldnt be finding a horcrux every other day so there would be down time |

I think what really was a important factor was Ron's insecurity. We need to remember that Ron never exceeded in anything within the Trio. He was the humor, the naive, the one with the most outlandish ideas... Even though I did want to slap him silly, I need to acknowledge that anyone in his place would have felt insecure. He does mention in the first book something about it. It was around the lines that being the last boy he had a lot to live up to, but if he did, he would not have been the first to do it, so no one acknowledges it. Then he also said he never got anything new and so on. So it must have been really hard for him to grow up. Then add the fact that Riddle tells him, he was not as great as Harry... Yeah I think I should have cut him some slack there.
