We know Angela must be older than 80 because she has told us that she was at Ellesméra before, and the elves "closed" the way into it after The Fall.

*sob* nobody listens to me. oh well.

Maybe Glaedr donated his leg to Angela after it was severed by an enemy? You never know.

LOL!!!!! I hear ya, sister. Same thing happens a lot to me. Only , I am not as nice as you. I publish the sin and the sinner!!!! Then the sinner makes up tons of lame excuses...... If it were up to me I would pull a Nathaniel Hawthorne and make the sinner carry "CC" on the forehead for being a 'copycat.'

That would have been some dialogue to read:
"Well, seeing that you already lost that leg. I am going to make good use of it. Do you think I can have it Glaedr???"

Well, you know how Glaedr only has 3 legs? And Angela used dragon knuckles to tell Eragon's future- we thought that those knuckles might have belonged to Glaedr.

What if Angela didnt get them herself? but her mother or some other relative of sorts gave them to her?

That's what I've been saying... But i doubt it was her mother... She probly bought them from someone.

Yep, that is very plausbile. And I also agree with Annie. We do not know how old she really is. I'd say she's old enough to have lived through the glorious days of the riders. I think back then it was nothing that special to have magical dragon bones. Well, you probably couldn't get them at every second corner, but still there must have been more magical things like the dragon bones Angela has.

Well not through the riders, but probly was alive near the end of the riders.

Why not? What evidence is there against it?

I think the question is, what evidence is there towards it.

A rhetorical question. How I see it is that it could go either way, before or after the Golden Days. However, I am inclined to sway towards before. She, herself told Eragon she was very old and did not look so because of her having to eat her plants during the lean times.
