I think he is evil. Very simple. Since he has been a hatchling when Galbatorix stole him, he never had the chance to become anything else than that. And why shouldn't there be any evil dragons, too? Who said that dragons have to be good?

You are right!!! I guess it’s just my whimsical idea that all dragons are good by nature!

Well, like it said in the book, nobody thinks of themselves as evil really.

Or mabye Shirukan will help Eragon to rid Alageasia of evil, or something like that to avenge his master. I would say he would kill Gilby, but he is already dead right? So mabye he will kill the remaining Shades with the Dragon Riders

What do you mean by ^^^ the bolded above.

WOW, that is some word play Hadarac!!! I totally lost you. I think people do know when they are being evil. And I do think some people are very closed minded and assume the role of judge and executioner because they believe they are in the right.
Murtagh accepts the vision Galbatorix has for Alagaesia, and even though he KNOWS Galbatorix is cruel and has no regard for people or life, he accepts the fairy tale he's been told by him.

Just look at the way he justifies the way Galbatorix and the Wyrdfell eliminated the Dragon Riders. So Murtagh is accepting Galby's evil ways.

MURTAGH IS SOOOOO LOST!! :(

On this note I think Shruikan might be good, I think he has some concept that he is being controlled. Maybe he really is evil and maybe he let Galby control him but maybe he is under control and is watching all that is happening but he can't help it or something.

I really wish Murtagh would change. I like Murtagh and it would be cool if he joined back up with Murtagh and then if Roran would get the egg and it would hatch for him then they will be all related dragon riders.

Shruikan was twisted with Black Magic since he was a hatchling. One-hundred and somethings years later... I think it's way too late for him.

No, I do not believe she will. I think Roran is next rider. He is most worthy.

*SOBS* Unfortunately, storywise she is the most qualified! :( However, Ayra has had over 80 (EIGHTY) yrs to gain that qualification. Roran with 20 (that's 60 yrs less than Ayra) has done his fair bit. It's just silly to belittle his accomplishments!!

GO RORAN STRONGHAMMER!
