:D That would be rich!! Getting a reply from the man himself!!!
I really cannot guess much about it. All we know is that Galbatorix twisted Shruikan into submission by dark spells.

yeah, that would be awsome. It would be nice to know the magic he used was preformed.

I feel it is unfair for Shruikan to die when Galbatorix does. I mean the dragon never had a chance or a choice into serving him.

I doubt Shuruiken will die... maybe when Galby dies the spells used on him will be destoryed?

Or mabye Shirukan will help Eragon to rid Alageasia of evil, or something like that to avenge his master. I would say he would kill Gilby, but he is already dead right? So mabye he will kill the remaining Shades with the Dragon Riders

unlikely. The books say that Shruikan was TWISTED. twisted implies a sort of brain-washing.

yeah, your proabably right. I wonder what he was like before he got twisted, and why Gilby chose Shruikan

i bet he was the youngest (and therefore most impressionable and most easily overcome) hatchling at the time.

Unfortunately, we do not know much about Shruikan. As the last book, we have not even seen him fly out. If there is no hope for Shruikan then I gather there isn't any for Thorn or Murtagh!!! Not that I care!

I think he is evil. Very simple. Since he has been a hatchling when Galbatorix stole him, he never had the chance to become anything else than that. And why shouldn't there be any evil dragons, too? Who said that dragons have to be good?
