I was in Bible class and I was flipping pages when I came accross a map of Cannan. And then I was like WOOOOAH!!! There is a place called Gilead!!! Seriously!

srry 2 bring religion into things, but this isn't really a discussion of it, just context.

i knew there was a place called Gilead. it's on a map at the back of my Bible.

I dont think he did it on purpose it just doesnt seem to have any symbolism or relation to Gilead of the bible.

it could..... i dunno. there hasn't been much religious symbolism in the book, so i doubt it has much meaning. but that's my oppinion.
