They scaed my Mom, good thing my 10 year old cousin isnt in to fantasy. But it would of been cool to make it a 24 or more hour movie and get all the book in to it. That would rock!

I never realized the amount of things which were adapted in the screen play. I don't like the battles scenes, (I usually cover my eyes) but I love the action. THey were really well done.

It's so funny because Aragon looks like a girl when he is crowned King, I like him a lot more without all the ornaments. I like him rough, muddy, sweaty, hair tousseled, and running like mad on the plains looking for Pippin and Merry.
He looks a lot more manish than with all the embellishments! :P :P

How can he look like a girl??? Haven't you noticed the beared he had by then?

But I agree that I like him best when he is "Streicher" (don't know the English name, sry). He lookes way better and cooler than when he is king! ^^

In the English version it's Strider, and he does look divine when he's not with the dresses. :D The beard wasn't enough cover up for all the ornaments!

The scene in which the water drowns the black horses was made to the T from the book. The only difference was that in the books, the horses were Gandalf's creation and the fury of the river was of Elrond's command.
I just cannot stop marveling at Peter Jackson's genius in this movie. Other then the previously mentioned, Jackson worked the imagery spot on.

I absolutely loved the battle scenes in the third one. They were so cool. I think that my favorite part of the battle was when the riders of Rohan are charging at the orks with the coming sun. To me it always looked like the riders where this huge wave and they just crashed right through the orks. Totally awesome if you ask me.

Again I agree that Jackson did an excellant job at the movies! I also agree with you guys about Aragorn. He was way better looking as Strider than as King Aragorn.

I may have stretched it a little too much saying he looked like a girl, but I love the roughish Strider! ;) ;)

I loved the first time you ever saw him in the movie! It's like this dark and somehow dangerous guy sitting in the darkest corner of the room...

Anyway, I think he is my favorite charcter if I had to choose one. Although... Legolas is pretty awesome as well! I just can't decide...
