you can, like Arya did the egg, but it normally isn't practical. And it uses a lot of energy.

Galbatorix was caught unawares once, I don't think he will play the fool twice.

I am of the smae thinkking. Galby would prolly figured out where Jeod came from adn sealed off the passage and might have even selaed it off with magic.

Somehow I have a feeling Galbatorix has no notion of Joed, who he is and his part in the retrieval of Saphira's egg. At least I haven't found any place which would convey that perception.

I agree, I've been Listening to Eragon, AGAIN, these past days on my way to and from work and I have to pose a question related to that. But I need to find the quote in the book first.

What could happen is Murtagh could use magic or whatever to get the egg to the elves or eragon

I agree with Dragon Lover. But it does rise the question of what interest could Murtagh have in the third egg. He already has a dragon......

If it's to magic you are making your reference, I agree. Roran may not be a mighty warrior, but he has proven his quality as a determined fighter! ;)

yeah, but he couldn't have even SENSED the lethrblanka! not much of a help there. Eragon was a skilled warrior, who also knew some magic, and HE couldn't defeat the Ra'zac. BROM who was a fully trained ex-rider couldn't take out the Ra'zac! from that, Roran would have been nothing but extra luggage for Saphira.

May be, but I insist he'll come to more than extra luggage.

except the Raz'acs' breath. he is HUMAN at this point AND he cant use magic, so he's even LESS helpful. if Eragon couldn't beat the Ra'zac, what makes you think that Roran can???
