yes, but Saphira said that it will only be obvious when the need is there. And she hasn't said anything about it since. He needs a physical weapon: Brom's sword.

Maybe his inheritance will be Brom's soul!!! Maybe Rhunon told Orik how to make the swords(remember he spent a considerable amount of time with her?) and he'll make one for him....

It wouldn't be of the same quality and you can't inherit a soul. You can inherit a sword though. That is all Brom has to give to Eragon, other than the ring.

It will kill you to have two souls in your body wont it? and i dontthink he will get broms sword it was like lost for an entiernty or soemthing likt that i think (only my opinion) but i think he will get some weird sword that wsa made by like 5 peoplw of each reace working together or something
