I think she definatley is a little to perfect. Or have you found anything that makes her appear as not as brilliant? She is smart, beautiful, proficient in magic and modest. She is also reasonable and knows the complicated manners of the elf's perfectly, has never commited any mistakes so far and she is one of the best swords women ever. What is not perfect about her? It makes it hard for me to accept that she has a real character with all the weaknesses even an elf has. I miss feelings other than the noble ones, jelousy or fear or whatever, but as it is she is nothing more to me than that what Paolini imagines as a perfect woman. |

Could it be that CP has his own idea of the perfect women and has materialized her in Ayra? I mean Eragon is not the only one drooling for her, I can name another real person!!!

LOL!~ It seems we are on the same page Wanderflake!!
But back on topic; Since I have not been feeling well lately, I've had the opportunity to listen to both books all over again. CP does not outright say things, but I have caught some things "in between lines" that suggest CP is giving Roran some qualities necessary and useful for a Rider. Will he be the next one? The truth is we don't know! |

Yeah but we at least have some idea of who it might be. It's inbetween Arya and Roran at the moment. |

HEY!!! I just remembered something i figured out over the break. The book is in 3rd person limited, so we are only getting an image of Arya from Eragon's point of view. she may not be perfect, but Eragon persieves her as such. |

Scarecrow it means we have male members who are obsessed and infatuated with Ayra, as if she was a real person! |
