If we merge them all the posts' orders may be screwed up...

Who here thinks Roran will be the next rider? Also, who thinks Ayra will be the rider? And who thinks it will be someone elese. Thats really what we are trying to decide here. Well that my opinion

I wonder what will happen if CP decides not to make Ayra the next Rider afterall? Besides all the angry people... How would he continue the storyline?? :o :o And if he does make Roran the Rider, how much of the story line will he use to describe his training?

Not much, I guess. Would be pretty much the same training Eragon had. If he is making Roran the next rider he would probably describe what Eragon is doing while everyone is waiting for Roran's training to be completed.

Or Roran could do like Eragon did and go without training for a while.... well be Orimis. But what is Orimis gets killed or dies or something?

He'll probably die after Eragon's training ends.

I agree, it's most likely Oromis will "pass into the void" once he has finished training Eragon.
On the other hand, Roran would really need to train then with Eragon.
As I see it, when Roran is under pressure, he thinks more logically or rational than Eragon while training with Brom.

I don't know, I have mixed feeling on this! I would like Roran to be the next Rider, but I know Ayra has earned the right to be the one. She has done and sacrificed so much in order to protect the dragons...

but she may not be one because of the circumstances. Yeah, but would Eragon be able to teach Roran as well as Orimis taught Eragon?

no: 1 cuz he doesn't have any experience teaching and 2. cuz he would have no time to teach him.

That would all be solved if it's Arya.

Ayra dosent know everything... she dosent already know how to be a dragon rider. It sounds like you think shes "all that"

nah. she just is a master at magic and is a great swordsman. the only thing she doesn't know is how to be a rider: the bond and fighting on dragonback. not to hard to learn in 6 months.

the only reason roran would have a chance at being a rider is because of his passion. He picks a path and follows it no matter what. He would be pretty eassy to teach

yeah, but even with dedication, there is only a certain ammount of learning and training you can do in a day. and teaching hard enough to get even 12/ way done with a totally inexperienced rider would over-work Oromis.

Yeah but Roran can already fight and other people can help him with magic. Then orimis could teach him other stuff with the help of eragon he could learn in no time
