Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Movie

While checking my favorite Harry Potter sites I came across the announcement of the Half-Blood Prince movie to be released in November 2008.
A director has not been chosen yet, and they are still filming Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, so even though the sixth film dare was "released" we need to keep our hats on!

Who would you like to direct this film?
I would love to see what Peter Jackson :D would do with this book! And if it can't be him, I would go back to Chris Columbus! :P

What I've read of him, only mention about those particular two and some documentaries he directed in the 80's, I cannot remember the titles though!

I dont care if he made any others, because the work he did with those two movies is enough to make me think he could do a great job with Harry Potter.

That's just my point! If he did the job he did with the LOTR, King Kong, (I haven't seen, not my cup of tea) and a couple of documentaries, then can you imagine the outstanding job he would do with the last two Potter movies?

LOL!!!! I totally agree with you. Christopher Columbus once said he might retun to do the last one or last two; if we can't have Peter Jackson, then he would be my second choice.

He directed the first two movies, besides he is an avid fan of the series. The following two directors had not even read the books!

I heaard there seems to be some type of absurd conflict of intrests in Peter Jackson decided to do the Potter movies. But that was when he was still working with LOTR's trilogy. I gather there wouldn't be one now that he's finished them.
