Will Eragon get Broms sword? I mean the riders swords can never break or dull so i mean his sword still has to be somewhere in Alageasia. I mean why didnt he give his sword to eragon instead of Zar'roc? he must of not had it. Mabye it was stolen

It was stolen by the Wyrdfell, then recovered by the elves, specifically the family which Linnea belonged to.

There is no information to suggest that Linnea's family had anything to do with the swords. All we know about her (Linnea) was the story which Ayra told Eragon!

Yeah, but the root of the Menoa Tree is Linnea. So her family is most likely one of the elven families, maybe even THE one, which has the recovered Riders' swords.

Well if Eragon gets that sword than it will definatally be found under the Menoa Tree. But if he doesn't get Brom's sword than whose sword would he get?

No, no, no. It isn't litterally under the roots of the Menoa tree!!! The alternate deffiniton of roots is the origin. The origin of Linnea is her family, which may be one of the two families which rescued a rider's sword from the Wyrdfell.

I know that I was just wondering if Eragon doesn't get Broms sword than whos would it be? But I dont think there is any other choice other than Broms sword.

And it would be Eragon's "inheritence" cuz Brom's his father.

You see that explanation makes complete sense to me. I can visualize Linnea melding into the tree as she sings!

I completeley agree broms sword is eragons inheritance! zar'roc can be murtaghs inheritance a twisted family legacy you may say! do you think arya or her mother(maybe even Angela) knows something about this?

I would also remind you guys, Eragon has received his first inheritance from Brom; the ring the elves gave Brom and Ajihad gave back to Eragon. :P
