Nasuada I think liked Murtagh. She has nothing for Eragon. Besides, it would be wrong, with her being his master (for lack of a better word I can think of).

Liegelord is the word, and yes I think they kind of liked each other, a little. That's Murtagh & Nasuada.

I was thinking about that word, but didn't use it for some reason. And we should get back on topic. Does Arya Love Eragon???

maybe... if she loves him she won't tell him until they win the last battle... She doesn't want to affect him...

yeah, but if i'm right and if their dragon's mating is ANYTHING like in McCaffrey's books, then she's going all the way. Not exactly what I was hoping. A bit too fast for me.

In Dragonriders of Pern the mating of the riders is more physical than emotional. Only where there is pre-existing feelings does the mating gets them closer together. For this reason I do not think CP will use this specific trait in the mating of the dragons in his story. CP comes through as a very sensitive person and I hope it will be reflected at the moment Eragon and Ayra (if ever) move into a romantic relationship.

yeah. i agree now. we had this conversation on SF. we just didn't reach there here. Yeah, but it might boost emotions.

and it's not exactly phisical in Dragonriders of Pern. They are caught up in their dragons' emotions, esentially becoming them.

The mating of the dragons is purely physical, and due to the binding between rider and beast, the rider is also involved physically with the counterpart's draconic emotions.

It is only in three cases in the whole series where the mating dragons and riders have had pre-existing feelings; thus Lessa and O'Flar; F"Nor and Brekke and last but not least, O'Flessan and Tai. All the other matings were purely physical as a result of being under the animal instinct of their dragons, so much that there is no other pairing as the above mentioned.
That is, after the dragon mates, the riders go on with their lives and pick up other mates at will.

NO I'M NOT.! JUST DON'T GO INTO MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE MATING. IT'S NOT APPROPRIATE!

WHen she does accept or acknowledge feelings for Eragon it won't be like the Pern books!

yes. I agree with you. And it's not exactly inapropriate. it's HOW you talk about it that makes it inapropriate and i thought it was fine. but moving on....

OK, this is the last time I will do this. If you read my post in this particular topic and any other topic, I know how to phrase things without having to sound, offensive, crude, cheap or rude. For those who have read the series understand perfectly clear the difference between one plot and the other. I doubt you have the subtlety to phrase it as it is.

End of discussion, let's move on! Thanks!

CP knows he hjas a large audience which is made up of kids, I am sure that when he writes the part in which Ayra finally accepts Eragon romanticly , it will be in very good taste, respect and tact.

i was just thinking last night, what if Arya kinda does love Eragon, but she has not come to terms with it and is denying it internally???? Thusly I guess she COULD say that she doesn't love him, because she doesn't believe it to be true.

I'm not saying that I really believe this. I just need to question my own theories to strengthent them.
