LOL!!!! I had the most hilarious time!!! I had the laugh of the week!!! Thanks guys, I needed that!! What on earth are you ThINKING, I mean if you are thinking!! Just ask anyone if a 16 yrs old kid would be in a position of disadvantage with a woman double their age!!! 1. boys generally tend to mature later than girls 2. boys do not usually end up married with older girls 3. the woman would chew him up and spit him out; they are a lot easier to manipulate at this stage. 4. the common interest levels are different. It doesn't work guys!! It doesn't work!!! I cannot believe that even Glaedr can understand that Ayra has so much more life experiences than Eragon and you can't. Oh Well, I guess you are so blinded with Ayra that not even     |

eragon is 16.... that's not old, that's quite young. and for 100 year old woman to marry a 16 year onld man? that's just wrong. |

I sure dang would. Arya's hot! lol, Just kidding. I agree with yall. I believe that Eragon should either: A) Not fall in love. B) Fall in love with some person of non-importance, and let Arya bask in her own destruction, for deep inside, she does love Eragon. Arya is too high-maintenanced for Eragon. Sure, she could hold her own, but she's so picky and whiney. |

She just may like to toy with him, at least in a couple of instances in the book, that's the impression I picked up!! |

In a couple of instances in the book, not many though. Off the top of my head I can mention after the Battle of Farthen Dur, beginning of Eldest, when Eragon asked her to go into the tunnels to see if she could find Murtagh, she said "Wiol ono" which means, "for you". I mean what was that about? If she has no feelings why make it sound so intimate? |

she wasn't toying with him. at that point i'm not even sure she knew he liked her. she was just doing a favor for a friend. |

By human nature, women perceive this kind of thing. I do not think for a minute that a woman as old and experienced as Ayra would not have picked this up. Add to the fact of all the times he intended to be over-protective of her, come on, I can't buy that!!! |

she wasn't toying with him. at that point i'm not even sure she knew he liked her. *can you deleat my previous post annie? i forgot that i wanted to quote. ty.* 1. he's immortal. he has time. 2. this is because of #1 3. Arya i can't seeing doing that to Eragon. Come on. Really, it's not in her nature. 4. common interest? meaning? what they are interested in? they have TONS in common if that's what you mean. she wasn't toying with him. at that point i'm not even sure she knew he liked her. she was just doing a favor for a friend. picky and whiny? i didnt pick that up. she's detached herself and she's still mourning. it's not easy to lose someone close to you. |
